Are You the Master of Your Universe?

June 28, 2010

Urban Renewal dress via Urban Outfitters, Ralph Lauren shirt, Report Signature shoes via Revolve Clothing, “Believe” necklace via QVC, Michael Kors watch via Nordstrom

Watching Masters of the Universe eating chocolate cookies as dark as Skeletor at 9am Sunday morning made me happy. So did the meeting of pink and blue that evening and all of those years prior…

I’m sitting on my twin sister, Bec’s, hands.

Post-kindergarten graduation. In pink again.

I still remember getting my hair done in a French braid for this summer wedding.

Editor’s Note: I have an awful habit of being standoffish when guys approach Bec and me when we’re out shooting. Apologies to the good-looking photographer who took our photo- unless the picture ends up somewhere I don’t want it to be!

  3. June 28, 2010 9:09 am

Hey Ary- I wore this dress earlier in the day before I saw you at Black Finn- bumming around the Inner Harbor with Ryan and Bec and then changed out of it in the car before peddle boating 🙂

Aaaw Dear Mel, the way this soft outfit faultlessly flirts with your sculptural BODY’s “High content of Sensuality” combined with your “KILLing-iliciously” sparkling / deeply serene smile tend to create such a scrumptious cocktail of “Urban / Sexy GLAM” !!!!
ps: J’espère que tu vas Bien.

Haha, you two are the poster children of twins, I swear! In a good way, of course 😀
Cut-out dresses, on the other hand, are totally your thing and you rock them like none other.

my best friends were identical twins in college. with that tidbit as miscellaneous background, always been fascinated by how twins who while very young dress the same or similar, grow to use fashion to project their (sometimes very) different style and personalities. you and your sister both dress amazing.

    Hope all is well.

Hey Rick- Great observation! I never even realized that- Bec and I do have different styles- she would never wear some of the pieces I do and vice versa! My mom loved dressing up in the same clothes or the same style clothes but in different colors like the pink and blue above or red and blue. We do make it a point to have differing hair lengths to stand a part though right now we are both at long lengths, which hasn’t happened in years! 🙂

Pink and blue together is my fav color combo! You are rocking this dress; I don’t have the balls to bare my mid-driff like you.

I look like a boy in that first baby pic!

Love your dress, Mel! And the blue with the shoes is parfait.
Cath was the one who wore the blue (or purple) and I always wore pink.

Becs just told us you were the surprise baby too- so was I! My mom that she was having one bebe, but after they pulled out Cath they said “Oh my god there’s another one” and I followed. Cheers to surprise babies 😉
