Audrey’s Night Out Where Fashion Plus Music Were In
Fashion Night Out may have been a world-wide celebration, but Thursday’s Audrey’s Night Out was a celebration within my own little world. The magazine, created by Asian American women for Asian American women, hosted its third annual Night Out at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. The night oozed with entertainment from the runway fashion shows to the dance performances to the bands to the open bars- and best of all- it appealed to all no matter the ethnicity in attendance.
The VB. Rocks.
Yvonne of Hey Do You.
The Ivy League Dance Crew (from Team Millennia of America’s Best Dance Crew).
The band, Seriously.
The band, Paperdoll.
Love Alan’s Prada glasses. He owns the Downtown LA pop-up boutique, Six-Hundred.
Made new friends with these sweet dancers, Kristin and Andrea.
Press line. I like the sound of Wrecked Stella. But you must say it in a hard-core manner.
Yvonne’s makeshift “R”.
My sister, Bec of Style with Benefits, and I didn’t know we were wearing the same lipstick until we were in the elevator. This is what happens when you have two separate bathrooms and never see each other until you’re staring at each other en route to your destination. And when you both find the perfect orange-red lipstick in Nars’ Heat Wave. Despite it being a heat wave that night, I wore a men’s XL Zara sweater, Report Signature heels, and Topshop velour hotpants (in turquoise) for good measure.
I’m happy to have made it out for Audrey’s Night.
